Request deletion of your FarmHand account and associated data
Account Deletion Request
We respect your right to have your personal data deleted. If you would like to delete your FarmHand account and all associated data, please follow one of the methods below.
Option 1: Delete from the App
You can delete your account directly from the FarmHand mobile app:
- Open the FarmHand app on your device
- Go to your Profile or Settings
- Select "Account Settings" or "Privacy"
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm your deletion request
Option 2: Email Request
If you prefer to request account deletion via email, or if you no longer have access to the app, please send an email to:
Please include the following information in your email:
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request - FarmHand"
- Your registered email address
- Any additional details that can help us identify your account
What Data Will Be Deleted?
When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:
- Your account information (name, email, profile details)
- All farm data (herds, camps, crops, animal records)
- Task records and associated images
- Rainfall records and weather data
- Organization memberships and permissions
- Location data and geographic coordinates
- Push notification tokens
- All other personal data associated with your account
Important Information
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your farm data, records, and settings will be lost.
Processing Time: Account deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.
Data Retention
Some information may be retained for legal or operational purposes as required by law, including:
- Transaction records for accounting purposes (anonymized where possible)
- Logs required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance
- Aggregated, anonymized data used for analytics (with all personal identifiers removed)
